Radiation therapy for prostate cancer treatment is used for detection and diagnosis of prostate cancer. It has been found from the study that most of the American people feel discomfort to discuss pre existing urinary, bowel or sexual problems with their physicians. The radiation therapy for prostate cancer treatment may depend on pre existing urinary, bowel or sexual problems. Most of physician in the United States have found that a combination of radiation therapy and external beam therapy is useful to tackle this disease. Study reveals that 74 percent of men treated with radiation therapy were cured form the disease. Studies also suggest that the combination of both radiography and radiation oncology is useful for effective treatment for prostate disease.

The Radiation therapy for prostate cancer treatment involves radioactive pellets that are inserted into the prostate through small needles during a small diagnosis procedure. It involves series of external beams for daily diagnosis treatment, but high-energy radiation beams are used to kill cancer cells.
