Three-dimensional x-ray imaging system generates image of a planer segment of an object exposed to radiation. In many industries X-rays are used to inspect products some these require to examine some particular material in spite if presence if other material that could also absorbed X-rays; so in X-rays of such part shadow of other parts are seen to overcome this three-dimensional x-ray imaging was developed.
Three-dimensional X-rays can be used in CT scans i.e. computed tomography scanner. These scanners combines different viewpoints, with help of which scanner can overcome the shadowing in image and generated image will have three-dimensional description of the object.
Typical scanner system with three-dimensional X-rays measures the X-ray flux reaching the detector from the source that moves around the object. The object is scanned by many voxels points having unknown absorbency. If sufficient amount of points are measured then data processing system solves the resulting equation X-ray absorbency of each voxel.
Three- dimensional X-ray system fitted in CT scanners are widely used imaging human body for different kind of diagnostic procedures, these system are also useful in imaging inanimate objects on assembly line.
Three- dimensional X-rays system can be used for forming images of objects in a volume being scanned. These Three- dimensional X-rays can be used in future to get three-dimensional photographs of actual molecules. This technique of three- dimensional x-rays enables scientists to measure and invert diffraction pattern and can get inside picture of nanoparticles.
Three- dimensional X-ray systems available in are used in verification, analysis and inspection of various products. In such systems, usually micro laminography X-ray system is installed that can produce three-dimensional X-rays and that ultimately produces high-resolution three-dimensional images. It can provide up to 240 different images from different angles. All these images are very important for any company as it helps them to eliminate the defects.
Three-dimensional x-rays are also used in systems that are widely used in medical field too. All Those CT scanners have Three- dimensional X-rays, that gives you up to 70 to 0 images of single organ. All these images taken from different angles and are of great helps in diagnosis and treatments.
