X-rays are one of the most helpful innovations by mankind. Many types of equipment such as abundant scientific and medical equipments use the characteristics of x-rays to carry out certain tests and studies. The main and important property of x-ray is they are highly penetrative and fast moving electromagnetic radiations, such that they can pierce through numerous solid subjects.

X-ray microscopes are the special kind of microscope, which are used to analyze the mini object or micro particle. These mini objects are the elements that are not visible by necked eyes and only x-ray microscope analysis can observe it. It distinguishes from the normal microscope in the manner that it does not need light to create image. In x-ray microscope, the x-rays are projected on the object under study. This study is useful to get the wide information of small molecules like animal cells or human cells.

A student Paul Kirkpatrick and counselor Albert Baez invented world’s first x-ray microscope in 1948. At that time, they used parabolic curved mirrors from where the X-rays bound and forms image.

To observe any object under microscope, it needs to follow certain conditions it should be small as possible. This is necessary because if the larger object is kept under the microscope to study, it gives more blurred image. The purpose of x-ray microscope is to study the minute particles so that they can be enlarged to give clearer image through X-ray microscopic analysis. One more condition is that the object should be as near to the equipment as possible.

In today’s world where everything is getting compacted and become as tiny as possible, microscopic analysis is simplifying your life using X-rays. You can consider any field from engineering to medical. In few diseases like malaria, it is mandatory, to have blood test, or when there is a fracture in any part of body X-ray microscopic analysis gives you helpful results. Often in medical or scientific laboratories, Human and animal cells both can be kept under the x-ray microscopes for study purpose.
