X-ray machines consists of X-ray sources, which can be lesser than 450 kV. This source can produce X-ray photons to strike on the target. Electron beams emitted from a heated cathode filament will be charge by anode and strike on the target. This target is also called focal point this process covert kinetic energy of electron into heat energy.

It has been found from the experiment that ten percent of the energy is converted into photons, in this process extra heat is dissipated through heat sink. At the focus point (where electron beams strikes), it makes 180 degrees with the origin, but it has been found from the experiment that highest intensity of protons found when they angled between 60 to 90 degrees.

X-ray technique involves production of x-rays through bombarding on a metal piece from x-rays tube with high speed of electrons. These electrons are accelerated by hundreds of kilovolts on the metal target. The bombarded electrons can eject electrons from inner shells; this vacant place can be filled by higher-level electrons.

The production of electrons occurs because of difference between lower and higher energy levels of electrons.

Previously X-ray technique was suitable to find tumors in breast tissues and cartilage in human knee and ankle joints. However, after sometime x-ray technique is used in many applications such as visualizing of soft tissues such as skin, cartilage, ligaments etc. Modern x-ray technique is used to detect adipose pads, collagen and large blood vessels.

Sometimes x-ray technique produces conventional x-ray images in the various shades because different types of tissues take in different levels of x-ray energy. This x-ray technique is useful to get images of bones and calcified tissues.

X-ray technique is very old and it is one of the important discoveries of 19th century.

X-ray technique is very useful for humans such as, through x-rays it is much easier and safer to look a broken bone.

X-ray technique is useful to produce electromagnetic radiation image of an object.

X-ray machines are used to produce visualization, which is located below the object’s surface.
